Please read the following booking terms and conditions as they detail the contract with Firon Pty Ltd – trading as 318Africa (ABN 58 167 835 789). The signatory of the required booking form accepts these terms on behalf of all named in the booking and the words ‘client’, ‘you’ or ‘your’ in these conditions should be construed accordingly.
‘Conditions’ mean these terms and conditions.
‘Contract’ means an agreement for the provision of travel arrangements by 318Africa to the client.
‘Client’ means a person or persons booking travel arrangements with 318Africa.
‘Travel Arrangements’ mean the travel arrangements made by 318Africa.
‘Amendments’ means any change to the travel arrangements.
‘Products’ mean individual components of the travel arrangements, ie accommodation, meals, transportation, cruises and tours.
‘Services’ mean the booking and payment services provided by 318Africa.
‘Suppliers’ mean the third parties responsible for providing the individual products.

After you have commenced your travel arrangements, there can be no refund on unused arrangements. We recommend strongly that comprehensive travel insurance be taken out at the time of booking and payment of your deposit, to cover cancellation fees as well as medical expenses, loss of personal belongings or unforeseen expenses.
318Africa will not be held responsible or pay compensation where Force Majeure occurs, meaning unusual, unavoidable and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood or adverse weather conditions.
Potentially any safari can have risks and it is essential that all directions and advice of the safari operator and their guides be followed. 318Africa selects the suppliers very carefully and will accept no responsibility for any illness, accident or loss whatsoever incurred in the course of the safari.
Visa Requirements – it is the client’s responsibility to ensure that all passports are valid with a minimum of six months remaining on returning home, with the possibility of denied airline boarding or entry into certain countries if not adhered to. Visas are required for Australian Passport holders for Tanzania, Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique, Madagascar and Egypt. Many countries allow visas to be purchased on arrival with fees payable in US Dollars. Some countries also require a minimum number of blank pages in your passport. Clients travelling with minors under the age of 18 years of age to South Africa require an Unabridged Birth Certificate, and affidavit if minors travelling without both parents.
Medical Conditions – 318Africa must be advised of any pre-existing medical conditions that may affect the travel arrangements. It is the client’s responsibility to seek professional medical advice and obtain any vaccinations or oral medication necessary prior to departure. Please note that the Yellow Fever vaccine is compulsory for travel to East Africa and many other countries require proof of a valid vaccination card even in transit.
