SANCTUARY SWALA SAFARI CAMP

picturesque landscape

Located in a remote corner of the Tarangire National Park in total seclusion amongst the acacia trees, Sanctuary Swala Camp offers a very exclusive safari experience. The picturesque landscape is filled with ancient baobab trees and herds of elephants. With just 12 luxurious canvas pavilions, raised above the ground and shaded by trees, they enjoy views over the waterhole and grasslands. The spacious open-plan rooms feature comfortable king or twin beds, campaign chairs and plush sofas, and an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor showers. Each private veranda lends itself to sundowners or private romantic dinners and a personal butler caters for every need. The main lounge and dining area, deck and library, built around an ancient baobab tree, all feature a chic, contemporary African design with a traditional thatched roof. Daily activities include morning and evening game drives, walking and night game drives, with time to relax in the refreshing infinity pool which overlooks the nearby waterhole often visited by lions, leopards and resident bull elephants.
