If you are thinking of Africa, think of 318Africa and Fiona Hay. We were a group of six people and Fiona’s knowledge, expertise and professionalism was amazing. Fiona arranged all our travel arrangements, accommodation, guides and safaris, including hot air ballooning over the Masai Mara, the helicopter flight over Victoria Falls and other interesting places to visit and stay. Fiona has visited Africa numerous times herself in order to familiarise herself with the various countries, it’s peoples and cultures. It has to be one of the best trips I have experienced for such a comprehensive tour. We travelled during the great migration of the animals in East Africa and we were fortunate enough to encounter every possible animal and beautiful bird. Being so close to the animals, both on land and water, such as walking with the lions, observing the migration of wildebeests and zebras crossing rivers, and boating on lakes with crocodiles and hippos around, was truly awe inspiring. The tour also included visits to native villages, wonderful restaurants and wineries. At the end of a month long trip we were feeling exhilarated and wanting more and we were only sorry that we had not extended the trip for a longer period of time. So, if you are considering a trip to Africa, think of Fiona Hay and 318Africa, you won’t be disappointed. Many thanks, Fiona!
